Notes for a new week.

1. Autumn Friends

The Blue Jays were playing yesterday and this one stopped long enough for a couple of photos. Can I say I love their brilliant blue coloring??

"There are joys which long to be ours. God sends ten thousands truths, which come about us like birds seeking inlet; but we are shut up to them, and so they bring us nothing, but sit and sing awhile upon the roof, and then fly away."

Henry Ward Beecher

Summary: Don't miss the simple joys God sends our way each day!

2. Latest Project: Please welcome "Coffee Doesn't Judge Coffee Understands" to The Savvy Rose Shop!

3. Results from Card Class on Saturday, October 12, 2019

Thanks to Verna Mullen for a fun and efficient card class this past Saturday! Verna is a Stampin' Up distributor and brings supplies ready for cards to be crafted on the spot. Every guest left with seven beautiful cards. Thanks to all who attended and for Robin Cox bringing her yummy desserts! Learn more about Verna's card designs and classes at her blog, Book a card class for you and your friends on our Services page.

4. Faith Focus:

Have you ugly cried during quiet time? That was me early this week. Sometimes thinking about Octobers both nine and seven years ago hits me hard (cancer journey) and I have to say "Thank you" to the Lord for allowing me to "be" here. I'm very grateful for people who have walked with me and our family when I have been very broken. May the Lord's kind presence be known in your life today if you're feeling broken.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Ps. 34.18

5. Peanut Butter Balls Recipe! Just 4 ingredients (and NOT without calories... #bewarned) One of my friends used to make these with me and our girls during the holidays and they are delicious.

  • Creamy Peanut Butter

  • Powdered Sugar

  • Butter

  • Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips

7. Calm for your week:

Sunday walks in the woods are very therapuetic for me. The colors have been glorious! Remember to pause and appreciate the scenery around you this week.

Have a GREAT week! Grow. Bloom. Repeat.
